VinceA transport strike happened here at the university. No public utility vehicle was entering the campus. As a result, many came late to their classes. The public transportation sector launched the transport strike in protest of the rerouting scheme implemented at the university. This has impaired the income of the drivers as their passengers became less.
The rerouting came to be to solve the traffic jams in the streets of the university. This has resulted to less traffic but also resulted to the less income of the drivers. The transportation strike was conducted in protest of the new rerouting. The drivers were asking several times the administration of the university to return the former route in the university. The administration kept turning them down. And this was the result, a day with no public transportation for the students as well as teachers and staff of the university.
I don’t know what happens next after the transport strike. I just hope that there will no longer be another transport strike.
