It is so difficult for me to be confronted by people telling me that I gained weight. You know why? Because no matter how hard I try not to eat and to exercise everyday, I still get this feeling that my weight doesn’t improve. And people tell me not to stop, but I don’t see results. Maybe I should start saving my money for food instead and buy the best weight loss pill there is. That way, I am able to control or lessen my food intake and at the same time, allow the pill to take full effect. For the longest time being, I exercise but still I eat a lot. Maybe that’s the reason why I am not really losing weight. Tomorrow, hopefully will be better.

Google Heller and msg. MSG makes people and rats fat. It is a neuro toxin and neuro exitant. It makes food taste incredible!! So most of the fast food outlets use it and most processed foods use it, but it has been renamed as “flavoring, flavor, maltodextrin, natural flavoring, smoke flavoring”, and many others. It is in processed meats, chinese food (classic chinese food headache), and is even in most “fresh” meats and chicken parts. It is in the 10-20% broth added to “fresh” chicken parts. It causes the thyroid to shut down, so your metabolism slows, and many people get grumpy, sleepy, achey, AND FAT. So maybe this will give you more insight. It may not be that you are eating too much, it may be what is IN your food that is hidden and that is what is making you fat. This is a VERY addictive chemical. The other really bad ingredient is fructose in soft drinks, “juice drink”, really a chemical drink, and in so many foods. Your body also needs healthy fats, such as olive oil, preferably organic and in a dark bottle. Any oil in a clear bottle is already rancid, even though it doesn’t taste like it is. Why? Light begins the destruction of the antioxidant properties in the oil. So get oil in a dark bottle, and keep it in the refrigerator. Buy small amounts and eat a little bit every day. One or two teaspoons of olive oil on a toast point will actually help you to lose weight! Study nutrition. Would you buy a car and put the wrong gas in it? No, it wouldn’t run for long. And the repairs would be horrendous. But people eat and drink garbage every day, and don’t have a clue what the food is really doing to their bodies.

Wanted to let everyone know that I have finished the fast that was started on Jan. 2, 2008 and finished on Jan. 31, 2008 (30days). I am very overweight and did not weigh myself before I started however, I believe you really don’t have to becase you can tell just by how you feel, the way your cloths fit and the energy you start to get after the initial phase. In March I plan on doing it again for the ten days only. Till I totaly clean myself out. The comments on the salt water solution I solved by using the SENNA tea from the health food store once at night before I went to bed and once at work in the morning and it worked great for me. It did its job. Along with the fast I have now started to try and be a vegetarian with poultry and fish somewhat and meat on rare occasions. So far so good on that venture with vegetable soup almost every day with fruits and seeds /nuts and organic wheat breads,pasta etc. when I can.

I have received and read this book. Very Interesting. I went on the cleanse for 17 days and did lose weight. However, I am not sure that I feel more energized. I would have liked to continue the cleanse for 20 days or 30 days but could not at this time. I found the cleanse pretty easy to follow without getting too exceptionally hungry. I did feel pretty cleaned out…YAY. I give it a 5 star rating b/c I believe that the book makes a lot of good sense and I strongly urge others to give this a try to better their own health.
