Everything can change in an instant and even term life insurance rates can change in an instant. It depends on the world economy and the demand. I think it is basic as the law of supply and demand dictates. But not to worry, such changes will not really make the subscribers suffer. Most of the time, the changes lead to a lower price and more benefits. This again depends on the firm and the services that they offer.
